2007 Mercedes Benz W203 Add New Smart Remote by IM508+ XP400

This post is available with how to use Autel IM508 together with XP400 to add new smart remote for 2007 Mercedes Benz Kompressor C180 w203.

Procedure:

Prepare BE key

Connect XP- 400 via usb cable(need for Mercedes online)

Connect IR cable(AP102)

Connect IM508 to OBDII port

Mercedes Benz→ smart mode→ on vehicle

Smart mode can not read car information

change to choose manual selection

C→ 2007-2011→ DAS3

1. EIS tools→read EIS data→ OBD→ on vehicle

Do you want to read key password by IR? Try with IR cable but in this article we skip this process

Press "no"

EIS information

Shown key tag

Save EIS data file ?→ Yes

1. Back to EIS tools, go to check key frequency

Press customer remote

Key frequency 433 MHz

Prepare BE key frequency 433mhz

1. Read & write key→IR→ read key information

Insert key into IR key hole in xp400

Key information: key number 3

1. Password calculation→add key→OBD→ on vehicle

Press "begin"

Read the note carefully

Insert customer key into EIS wait 5 second and check key can be turn on

Pull key out then insert into IR key hole, and do not pull key out during process(around 10-30 minutes)

Password calculation complete

Insert key into EIS wait 30 second,sound steering lock move mean ok

Password calculation complete

1. Back to EIS tools menu, generate key file

On the Autel IM508 screen you can see Password automatic shown

Choose key number to generate: select all keys

Our BE key is half smart key v51

Generate key files...

Generate success and saved

write key file to BE key

Insert blank BE key into IR key hole

Choose key flies→ key number 4(not used) to write

Write key success

Check new key can turn on and start ok
